SyncToy action was 'Synchronize' Found 3 actions to perform. Update The only thing Verbose shows, is that after the scanning was complete, it took 13 minutes to show the Preview result. I'll turn on the verbose and see what happens. In my opinion is something to do with the new sync framework if going back to 2.0 still hangs. I can't see any special file in those folders. SyncToy 2.0 was working perfectly, while 2.1 hangs on some folders for no reason. Same here, installed on 2 different computers running XP 64 and Vista 32, syncyng with other XP 64 and Vista 64. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Then re install synctoy2.1 with the download pakage, hope this time it will work well. Try to remove all of them, if there are the other two v1.0 one too. For now, the suggestion for all of you, should be uninstall synctoy and remove the Synchronize Framework componets, there are two entries in Control Panel\Programs and Features. What special is for your folder pairs with this problem? I noticed you said, a "not-in-use Outlook PST file", when you run sync with synctoy, did you just run after close outlook, as you know, the OS sometimes will not release the file handler immediately after you close the application. I will try to repro your problem, and if it is possible, could you share me the log when that happened? Change value to Verbose for configure setting SyncToyTraceLevel in file C:\Program Files\SyncToy 2.1\nfig. It is a little wired, as I am sure, it will work well on vista(x86) with 32bit Synctoy. I figured to ask for help before doing anything else, due to it being mostly reinstalling the OS or reverting back to a less modern version, not sure what the problem is, but i need the BIOS as a startup option and i am hoping someone here can help before classes start in about a week. Reset the BIOS/CMOS by "setting to defaults in the BIOS menu" I have tried troubleshooting in a few ways with no results in bringing back my option to Boot the BIOS Is there something wrong here software wise in the windows 10 operating system that i dont know ? or is this a common thing for more modern versions of the OS? while this is not always a problem, it is now that i am required as a college student to use multiple OS, i must now use a dual boot system, which is severely impractical with what seems to be the newest versions of windows forcing me to go through their system to access the BIOS menu. However i noticed my option on the "initial start up menu" to load up BIOS instead of my OS is no longer present and i must always go through the windows system to access it. When i first started windows (windows XP) i always entered the BIOS through the use of the f keys at what i call the "initial boot menu" as i got older i jumped with the changes with windows and now i am at windows 10 after making the jump from 8.1.
